About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Warm Greeting: Welcome guests immediately as they enter with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Seating & Flow Management: Assign tables, manage the floor plan, and balance guest rotation evenly among servers.
- Reservations & Waitlists: Take phone calls, handle digital booking apps (like Yelp or Resy), and give accurate wait time estimates.
- Guest Inquiries: Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, and dietary or allergy accommodations.
- Team Coordination: Communicate constantly with servers, busers, and the kitchen to track which tables are clean, dirty, or ready for seating.
